Using the powerful MotionSolve kinematics solution from Altair’s HyperWorks suite, and the embedded ADAMS kinematics tool from SolidWorks Premium Design and Analysis can simulate real world applications of mechanisms. This allows time-based analysis of motion to be studied to determine force profiles and working envelope limits. With the integration of flexible bodies, the stresses during motion can also be studied and visualised.
